Hi! I'm Kimi, your Costa Rica expert! ☀️ I've been living in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for three years now, but I have been a repeat traveler to CR since 2016. I've learned many tips and tricks for finding community, getting around without a car, leasing an apartment, learning Spanish, renting a vehicle, and surviving in the hot province of Guanacaste. It's very important to me, as a traveler, that I understand the cultural context of the country I am traveling to. My goal is to help my clients feel comfortable and confident in Costa Rica, while respecting this country's unique norms and culture. I moved to Madrid, Spain in summer 2021 from San Francisco, California. I came to Spain for the first time in 2019 and quickly fell in love with the place. I quickly decided to relocate here permanently. I love showing friends around new places that seem to be cropping up every day here. In my first 9 months here, I had 15 friends visit me from abroad (mostly the US) and afterwards, in the interest of efficiency, I wrote a 5-page informal Google Doc to share amongst my friends.
