Hi! I am Anna a Rochester, NY based travel planner. I am here to help you with every step of your next vacation. I can help you plan a luxury vacation without that luxury price tag! My passion for travel began in 2019 when I lived abroad in Florence, Italy for a year. Because of this experience, I have since been to 19 countries and visited many cities in them! My favorite will always be Florence, but Copenhagen, Denmark and Ljubljana, Slovenia are close seconds! Outside of travel and my day job I love to read (anything fantasy) and I spend time cooking and working out with my boyfriend. I am also an avid plant enthusiast and have over 80 plants in my 2 bedroom apartment (much to the dismay of my boyfriend). In the past 3 years I have booked several vacations for clients. The two I consider my greatest achievements were both international adventures. One was for 40 days, 4 people across 9 countries. This trip cost each person less than $6,000 each and they got to experience so many different foods, stays, activities and places! The second was a 14 day, 11 person trip across 2 countries and 4 cities. This trip was more luxurious, however, the family that worked with me saved $30,000 compared to working with a different travel agent. Welcome to my (and hopefully our) adventures! I have lived all over the United States, and I have a passion for the outdoors and budget-travel. My style of travel is easy-going, yet filled with adventure and excitement. I focus on connecting with people and community, as well as immersing myself in the outdoors as much as possible. Finding a balance between these two have led to some amazing memories, and I cannot wait to share them with you. Most recently, I lived in my car for over seven months, while I visited every National Park in the lower 48. I hiked, camped, met amazing people, and hiked some more. I got to experience the parks like a local, because I had no timetable, no flights to catch, no rental car to return, etc. Some parks I stayed only for a few hours, and others for over a week. I chatted with park rangers, stayed with people that lived nearby, and camped with others at some amazing campsites. The travel guides I share give you an "insider" look at the national park, with tips for the best hikes, tricks for finding campsites (but I always include hotel options too), as well as information about the various aspects of the parks. Hi! We are Katie and Joe! We quit the corporate life in 2022 after a decade of global advertising and photography experience to travel the world. We converted a 2022 Ford Transit Van to be our mobile home on wheels. Since we completed Clifford (he's big and red), we've been to Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, up the Alaskan Highway, and into Alaska. We are on a quest to see all 63 US National Parks, so far we've seen 41 in 2023 and more to come. We were both raised in Colorado but have spent the past 10 years bouncing around New York City, NY, Berlin, Germany, Detroit, Michigan. While those are fantastic places filled with wonderful memories, we are happy to be closer to our families in Colorado. We've been traveling together for almost 15 years (yikes!) and have seen 30+ countries together. From Japan to Portugal and almost anywhere between, we've seen a lot! But we know there is so much more to see.
