Hi, I’m Emily. I have been an avid female solo traveler most of my adult life. I have traveled to over 27 countries, on four continents, as well as lived in three countries, and tried to learn two other languages. I studied in Chile for a semester in college. I lived in Ecuador for a year, learning Spanish and teaching English. More recently, I was living and teaching in Sweden, and also trying to learn Swedish. I love to explore places off the beaten path, creating my own itineraries, and making connections with the locals. I currently live in Saint Paul, Minnesota. That serendipitous encounter led to us moving to Germany, where we got permanent residency and lived for 7 years! 🚙My time in Europe was spent campervanning around Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Norway, and Sweden, hiking and snowboarding extensively in the Alps, and visiting many of Europe's incredible rural areas and national parks.
