Analise
Lives in Kingston, NY, USA
Hello, my name is Analise and I live between Johannesburg and New York. I've lived in 5 different cities across New York over the last ten years and spend increasingly more time in Africa. I curate travel experiences for the griot in each of us... a griot (ĖˆÉ”rēō) is a member of a class of traveling poets, musicians, and storytellers who maintain a tradition of oral history in parts of West Africa. I've inherited a legacy of migration and storytelling that informs the life I'm creating for myself. We all come from somewhere and I believe travel can facilitate important memory and reconciliation. I hold an intention to deepen collective consciousness by way of international relationship building and the arts. Through sharing our stories, we uncover our mutuality and our difference which can expand our horizons allowing us to become more compassionate, engaged, global citizens. Over the last 11 years, I've lived and traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe. I now split my time between New York and South Africa with frequent trips to London where I have family and friends. I'm also the founder of Common Healing, a boutique travel company for world-builders. My travel style is unique in that, I seek to connect with the pulse of a place. This means deep listening and intuitive engagement with the people and the land to really immerse in the culture. I'm not as concerned about the tourist hot spots as I am letting locals show me what they love about their home. I find this leads to meaningful relationships that stand the test of borders and inspiration we can bring into our healing work, our creative practices, and expression. I guide travelers to show up curious about the wisdom that's available wherever they go and to remember that travel is an opportunity to move resources and share the realest parts of ourselves.

Eva-Lotta Jansson
Lives in Stockholm, Sverige
Start exploring the natural beauty of Stockholm with me, including the archipelago! Stockholm and its medieval city center is, in fact, built on 14 islands and sits on the banks of the archipelago, where Lake MƤlaren meets the Baltic Sea. The vast Stockholm archipelago, made up of about 24,000 islands, fans out 80km from the inlet, and has fabulous boat connections departing directly from city central, making the islands accessible to visitors. With such an array of choice at varying distance, it will be important to pick your destinations ahead of time. If youā€™d like to experience the area with the enthusiastic eyes of a visitor, but the ease of the local, I can give you some suggestions. After living abroad for many years, working as a photojournalist and filmmaker, I've been rediscovering Stockholm, my home, with the lens. And whatā€™s been the most fascinating to me is nature and the sea, and how very fortunate we are to be able to access it all right here, in our equally beautiful city. Iā€™ll aim to provide you with some itineraries, maps and location guides to make it easier to choose among the gems. Feel free to make suggestions (as this page grows), or inquire about hiring me as a photographer and filmmaker or location scout. Youā€™ll find my Instagram handle and website below. See you in the travel guides!
