Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere

This is a picturesque and lively square that is beloved by locals and tourists alike. This square has origins that date back to the Roman period. 

This is the perfect place to stroll in the evening and to enjoy a lovely meal. 

Grab an ice cream at Il Gelato di Santa Maria and stroll through the square or sit on the steps at the communal fountain and take in the impressive baroque architecture of the church.
