" 🎭Viarregio is a coastal town in Tuscany, an ideal day trip from Florence. You can easily reach Viareggio by train from Florence in under two hours, and for around 10 euro. 🎟️To enter the Carnevale experience you must buy a ticket, full price is 22 euro for the normal, standing room. There are also ticket options if you want to be in the seated section on the bleachers, but I recommend standing and feeling immersed with the parade! Each date has a different start time ⏰ The event takes place for a few weeks in February. Once you grab your ticket, head on in, and grab a wristband to come in and out as you please. In terms of necessities you will find food and drink stands and porter potties. We got there well before the parade started, in time to enjoy lunch one of the many restaurants.🍴 🎈Enjoy the incredible papier-mâché floats, complete with irony, political satire, and fantasy! Make sure you dress up to get into the spirit! 🥳There are stands selling confetti, and even pieces to add to your costume, like wigs! 🎉 "
