"The National Palace of Culture – Congress Centre Sofia (NDK) is the largest multifunctional venue in Southeastern Europe, established in 1981. Located centrally in Sofia, the palace is a preferred space for hosting a variety of professional and cultural events, including international congresses, conferences, exhibitions, festivals, and concerts. Its strategic location offers easy access for representatives of Sofia's cultural and socio-economic sectors. NDK spans a massive 123,000 square meters over eight floors, with four panoramic terraces and three underground levels. It features 13 halls of varying capacities and 6,000 square meters of exhibition space, making it versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of events. It is also equipped with lounges suitable for press conferences, demonstrations, briefings, and cocktails. The National Palace of Culture is a member of the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) and was awarded the title of “Best Congress Centre in the World” in 2005.
