"The Underground River is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and holds the title of the longest underground river on the planet! Located about an hour and a half from Puerto Princesa and 4 hours from El Nido, it’s a must-visit attraction. I visited on my way to El Nido with a tour, and it was a fantastic way to break up the journey while still feeling like I was on an adventure. If you go, be sure to wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet, as you’ll be stepping in water, and keep an eye out for monkeys! The tour is incredibly well-organized, with knowledgeable guides who provide lots of interesting information. It’s definitely a highlight of the trip!"
