David Guccione
"Old Fall River Road is a one-way dirt road that starts near the Fall River (eastern most) entrance right after Sheep Lakes. This is a road than any vehicle can drive under normal circumstances. There are pull-offs for taking in the scenery and for vehicle passing. There is at least one named waterfall and one named hike along the way. The road ends at the Alpine Visitor Center. There are vault toilets conveniently in the parking lot, outside of the visitor center itself. We have seen a variety of animals, including elk, moose, deer and marmot, along this trail, mostly near the visitor center. "
