What people say

"This famous wheel marks the entrance to the Prater amusement park and gives spectacular views over Vienna. The Ferris wheel (called Wiener Riesenrad) was built in 1897 and originally had 30 cabins before it was damaged during WWII ā€“ then only 15 cabins were rebuilt. For more than 125 years now, the Ferris Wheel has been putting smiles on visitors, both young and old, with fascinating views of Vienna. Be aware that a ride on the Ferris Wheel is a really popular activity and the line will be long. Fun fact: What many donā€™t know is that Viennaā€™s Giant Ferris Wheel is an excellent party destination! Whether brunch, lunch, birthday or childrenā€™s party, marriage proposal or bachelor party.
