Siegessäule

The monument that was originally erected to commemorate Germany's victories against other nations has long ago taken on a different meaning in the public imagination. Today, the Victory Column is closely linked to the techno festival Love Parade - every year, the closing rally took place at the feet of the famous monument.

Fue construida para conmemorar las victorias prusianas en las guerras del siglo XIX y se encuentra en el parque Tiergarten. Ofrece una vista panorámica de la ciudad desde su plataforma de observación.

The victory column or as a Berliner would call it "the Goldelse" is located close to the Tiergarten and the Brandenburger gate. It is possible to climb it for a nice view on the surrounding parks.
