VOX Brasserie & Bar

"VOX, located in the Hilton hotel, offers traditional Icelandic dishes that will blow your mind. The restaurant is so incredible it was recommended in the 2018 Michelin guide. To say I was impressed with the way they handled my gluten-free request would be an understatement. We mentioned that I'm a celiac in the reservation and when we arrived there was a basket of gluten-free bread on the table, the maitre d checked that I was the celiac at the table, and the waiter also double-checked who to bring the GF plates to. I asked to speak with the chef and he was so kind. He explained that they've handled celiac disease before and he had one single person in the kitchen responsible for prepping all my food separately. I felt incredibly safe, the food was super delicious, and we had an all-around positive experience."
