Guatemala has an outstanding landscape to be discovered, characterized by its volcanoes, some of them active ones. It's actually in Guatelama where you'll find the most active volcano of Central America, the Volcán de Fuego. 

In this 2-week itinerary you can expect to find nature, adventure, hikes and my best tips after having travelled to this amazing country, so you can avoid mistakes, and enjoy to the fullest of your time in Guatemala. 

This itinerary is designed in a way to see the most attractive icons of the country in 2 weeks in a balanced way, where you'll need energy for the adventurous and physical part of the trip but you'll get to relax in idyllic places, too.

El Barrio

Your one-stop shop for the night. Welcome to El Barrio! There's Bullseye bar for Trivia (every other Thu, plus wing specials), Monday karaoke, and daily sports games. There's Mahalo for good cocktails. There's the rooftop. El Barrio houses a variety of nice bars (both craft cocktails and cheap drinks) and fills up during weekends. Fun times!

EN: Complex with several bars open all evenings. Mondays are very popular as it's ladies' nights with drinks free for women. 

FR : Complexe avec plusieurs bars ouverts tous les soirs. Les lundis sont très populaires car des boissons sont offertes aux femmes. 

A huge drink menu and the perfect spot to dance the night away - a weekend hotspot! There is a second floor, typically with different music and more of a bar vibe, the downstairs is where you stay to dance.

Antigua - Guatemala

This was a great place to hang out as you'll find different options in one same place. At around 10.30/11pm the DJ starts and it was mainly Reggeaton music.
