Kids and carry on
"Whether you're Australian or not, this zoo may well be the highlight of your kid's visit. Picnics are welcome. Although there is food available around the sanctuary, it's fast food choices with attraction prices. Prams are recommended for younger kids as there is a lot of walking although this makes riding the train a difficult option. The playground is a must visit and don't forget your swimmers for the splash park. The Coolangatta Airport flight path is directly overhead which was a great source of entertainment for the kids, guessing the airline before we could see the tail."
"A must visit! Cuddle and snap a pic with a koala, meet and feed kangaroos, see crocodiles, and experience Australian wildlife just moments away from the beachside here. If you go early at 8 am, you will not only beat the crowds but can also join the free daily bird feeding. Remember to download the map and showtime table, plan your day around shows and book slots early for all encounters! "
