"Madeira Island is home to some particularly beautiful corners, which have made it famous as a true Eden in the middle of the ocean. Fajã dos Padres, where Nature expresses itself with particular grace, is undoubtedly one of these places. This narrow strip of land, on the seashore, has a rare natural splendor. The sea, with turquoise tones and a transparency that allows you to see the bottom without any difficulty, has a particularly inviting temperature, which can reach over 24 °C in the summer. It is therefore worth taking advantage of the Fajã dos Padres beach, with its pebbles, and the small pier there, with showers and sun loungers, to enjoy a few dips. The tropical fruit trees, such as mangoes, bananas and avocados, are very vibrant all year round, taking advantage of the fertility of the land and the microclimate that is present here. The landscape is completed by the imposing 250-metre-high cliff that frames and protects this special place.
