Once the capital of Japan, Kyoto is now a culture center of the country. With shrines and temples around every corner, you can easily find yourself lost among all there is to do and see in this city.

Higashiyama Ward

Come here after your trip to Kiyomizudera for a late breakfast or early lunch. Shops and restaurants begin to open around 9-10AM - and there is plenty to choose from in the packed district!
