"⭐️ Featured in my Kyoto Tours videos. Hokan-ji Temple is also known as Yasaka-no-to (Yasaka Pagoda). Built by the Imperial Prince Shotoku in 589, the pagoda is said to have been inspired by a dream. It is a 46-meter tall pagoda which lies in the middle of an old Kyoto neighbourhood, between Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Yasaka-jinja Shrine. You have likely seen this pagoda appear in many photos representing "Kyoto". Visitors are allowed inside the tower to view the architecture, statues, and fading paintings. Entrance fees: 400 yen (Children under 12 not allowed in the pagoda) "
"Perfect photo spot infant of the famous building. Recommended to visit this landmark as early in the morning as possible to avoid the crowd for making pictures. "
