"💎 This fabulous restaurant is at the end of a narrow alley in Beyoğlu. You would never find it unless you knew where to look.
👉 Originally called Rejans, it was opened by Russians fleeing the Revolution.
😋 The restaurant features Russian and Eastern European cuisine.
❤️ Everything I’ve tried on my visits has been delicious! But I’m a huge fan of their desserts and cocktails!
😊 Menu tip: Anything on the menu with 1924 in front of the name is a house specialty and will not disappoint.
🤩 Rejans became a favourite of a few people you might have heard of. There are golden nameplates around the restaurant walls of its famous guests. I found Greta Garbo and Agatha Christie.
🔍 During World War I, Istanbul was a massive hub for espionage, and legend has it that Rejans was the preferred dinner spot for spies from both sides.
✨ The restaurant has a vintage vibe, with dark wood, huge mirrors, beautiful floors, and antique chandeliers.
