"This company is great for exploring the volcanoes. They have a few options depending on how adventurous and up for a challenge you feel like. I did the Double Whammy which included hiking Acatenango and Fuego volcano. The company provides gear including clothes, packs, and camp items if you don't want to travel with any of those things. Snacks and water are up to you, but the company will provide meals. The experience was amazing. The huts for sleeping at night are clean, sturdy, and comfortable enough for a night of sleep before waking up early. The views from the campsite are amazing -- Fuego Volcano can be seen from camp and if you are lucky you can watch it erupt throughout the night. The hike is no easy thing. They take breaks throughout the day and stop for lunch for a decent amount of time. It is hard work and there is little shade for part of the day. It is without a doubt worth it, but it will be hard work. The guides do a great job of keeping everyone together and checking in. If you are not an avid hiker I would recommend just doing Acatenango. Fuego is cool but if it is cloudy on the day you arrive it is not worth the venture. The summit is the hardest part of Acatenango and there will be a crowd of people, but the view is one of a kind. Tip: For elevation sickness electrolytes, sugary candy, and fruit is helpful in keeping salt and sugar levels high from all the sweating you will be doing. "

"I cannot recommand this agency enough. Everything is well organized, great food, fun guides and amazing hike. The acatenango hike is one of the hardest I have done because of the altitude but trust me, IT WAS WORTH IT. You can also choose to do the Fuego hike in extra, which I did. Oh yeah, it killed me but we got so close to the volcano and it is something that will never forget! Plus, you get amazing pictures! "
