As a California nature, here is my tried and true itinerary for a 3-day weekend in Sonoma. I trialed this itinerary first for an ACTUAL couples weekend we had in July 2023, so it’s legit and rehearsed!

Gundlach Bundschu Winery

Cabernets and small production wines are the specialty at California's oldest family-run winery with a low-key vibe and beautiful picnic grounds overlooking a lake. 

Essential Details
-Average tasting fees: $85
-By appointment only, with the last reservation at 3pm
-Family and dog friendly
-No outside food, but they offer cheese and charcuterie boards and other seasonal fares for purchase.
