"We stayed in the newer annex portion of the Royal Hawaiian and our room had a beautiful view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. The hotel location is very convenient to shopping and other restaurants. The pool associated with the Royal Hawaiin is also shared with The Sheraton Waikiki Resort next door but with no disadvantage. The Royal Hawaiin has a beach area with amenities."

The beach this hotel sits on is always pretty crowded but they do offer chairs & umbrellas for guests "
