"Start your day hiking Devil's Bridge, the largest natural sandstone arch located in the Sedona area of Coconino National Forest. This is a great hike that offers breathtaking views of Red Rock country.
It is a 3.9 mile out-and-back hike that is rated moderate. There is very limited parking at the Dry Creek Vista trailhead, or you can park on the side of the street which is about a 1 mile walk from the trailhead.
This trail does get very crowded, so definitely do it first thing in the morning, especially if you want to park at the trailhead. I recommend arriving no later than 6:45am.
Plus, if you start early, you'll be able to get a picture on the arch without the crowds or having to wait in line! "

"The quintessential Sedona Instagram-famous hike. For many, this is a must-do on their trip to Sedona. But all that fame comes at a cost — crowded parking overflowing onto the street, an overcrowded trail, and a long line to wait in for that iconic photo. Our take? DON’T BOTHER. No really, don’t. This hike has gotten soooooo over exposed and you’ll most likely wait an hour (or more) with every “influencer” under the sun for one photo. It’s not worth it and you’ll miss out on other great hikes! If, and it’s a BIG if, you are visiting in the very off season OR you wake up super-early and have already hiked Cathedral Rock, then maybe attempt it. Maybe."

"Such a great hiking trail moderate difficulty (about 1.8 miles roundtrip) with a great view right on the bridge which is called "Devils Bridge". I suggest going early right around sunrise or on a weekday to get a good parking spot in the lot, as peak times are later in the morning which can also cause long wait times to take photos on the bridge. I have seen people bring dogs on this trail, however use your own discretion based on your pups capabilities. "
