"Historically, Shem Creek was home to the shrimp docks and ice house in the small town of Mt. Pleasant. You can still go there to buy fresh caught Mt. Pleasant Seafood or grab a drink on the water. Shem Creek's public park has free parking and you can take the boardwalk pretty far into the water."
