"The Bagel is one of New York's Most Famous Jewish Staples, but another one brought over by Polish Jewish Immigrants towards the turn of the 20th century was the Bialy. The Bialy has a depressed center where you can put fillings (onions are a great choice). It's really simple, no malt or sugar like a bagel. The Bialy tastes like pizza dough, and they're not very common in New York City bagel shops anymore. Kossar's gives you the option to order either, but i'd pick the Bialy because of it's history in the Big Apple and how rare it is to see anymore. Or better yet, order both. Each Bialy is only $1.35 (Onion, Garclic, or Sesame)."

"This is one of the rare bagelshops that actually has great crispy bacon. Therefore, I highly recommend a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Everything Bagel."
