"It's called Bagel Hole, because it's literally a little hole in the wall. But some of New York's best locations are the same. They do their bagels well, no frills. They are smaller than a typical bagel, so know that going in (you may need more than one). Their soft dough reminds me of my favorite bagels in Fair Lawn, NJ (my hometown, who I still swear has the best bagels in the world). This is in Park Slope, Brooklyn, not the closest spot to touristy Midtown, which is why I wouldn't put it as #1."
