"This place is an absolute vibe. Yet another one of NYC's amazing Mediterranean spots - Shuka is hip, fun, and has really great food. It is perfect to catch up with a friend or come with a huge group. The vibes are all time in here and it gets pretty lively on the weekends. While the restaurant is large - they do take reservations, but also strongly encourage walk-ins.
My favorite things to order are: any and all of the dips, the fattoush salad w/halloumi is mind blowing, and the shuka feast is ideal if you can convince everyone to participate!"

"Small plates have never seemed so mighty! Family style is the best means of exploring Shuka’s menu of mezze, dips, and flavorful dishes. Its scenic patio in the warmer months certainly sets the scene for a great group outing and has the most beautiful wallpaper. The beet hummus is equally gorgeous and flavorsome. Their whipped feta and pistachio? Send me to the moon!"

"4.5/5 on yelp - obviously one out of many recommendations for this area, but adding because by some fortune, i was able to walk in with ~20m wait for 2 people on a friday night."
