What people say

"Catch some shade under the large trees in Frederiksberg Have. The park has a playground for kids, a pretty Chinese house, multiple brigdes and most of all: quiet space. In winter, it can look a little depressing, but in summer the park is beaufitul. Like almost everywhere else in København, Frederiksberg Have is also very clean and well-maintained. From the park, you can walk around the palace at the top of the hill. Don’t expect much from the palace — most of the time you cannot enter, and its exterior is not very detailed. As the palace is currently in use as a military academy, you can only book a guided tour on the last Saturday of each month (excluding December). To conclude: the park is nice in summer, but the palace is not worth going out of your way for, except on those specific Saturdays."
"Frederiksberg Gardens is one of Copenhagen's most beloved green spaces. This expansive park, designed in the romantic English style, offers a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With winding paths, sparkling lakes, and lush greenery, the gardens are a haven for relaxation and recreation. Visitors can enjoy picnics on the sprawling lawns, rent boats to explore the waterways, or simply wander through the park's scenic beauty. The gardens are also home to a diverse array of wildlife, making it a delightful spot for nature enthusiasts."
"The park dates back to the early 18th century when it was designed as a baroque-style royal garden for Frederiksberg Palace. Over the years, the garden has undergone various transformations and is now a mix of formal gardens, open lawns, water features, and wooded areas open to everyone. "
