Tineretului Park

"Tineretului Park is a park in the southern area of Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Specifically, it falls within the so-called Sector 4. Tineretului Park was created in 1965. The project is part of the work of architect Valentin Donose, who was the designer of many of the recreational and leisure areas in the southern area of Bucharest. In particular, Donose's projects were carried out between the 1960s and 1970s. The park has a large area of green areas. In addition, it contains a large number of play areas - for children, for skating, a human chess... - and a lake, which in summer allows its visitors to rent boats for navigation. Inside the park is the Sala Polivalentă, a multipurpose building that is used for sporting, musical and cultural events. In the southeastern part of the park is the Orăşelul Copiilor, or what is the same, the "Children's City". This is a park for young children that has all kinds of recreational games."
