"Travelers should make it a point to visit the Cliffs of Moher for a multitude of compelling reasons. First and foremost, these cliffs are a natural masterpiece, standing as an awe-inspiring testament to the Earth's geological history. Rising over 700 feet above the mighty Atlantic Ocean, they offer a spectacle of breathtaking beauty that's impossible to ignore. The panoramic vistas from the cliffs are nothing short of spectacular, providing an opportunity to marvel at the untamed beauty of the Irish coast, the distant Aran Islands, and the picturesque Connemara Mountains. Moreover, the cliffs serve as a sanctuary for numerous bird species, including the charming puffins, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Beyond the natural wonders, the Cliffs of Moher hold a special place in Irish culture and history, adding an enriching layer of significance to any visit. In essence, a journey to these iconic cliffs promises an unforgettable experience that combines nature's grandeur with cultural depth, making it an essential stop for any traveler exploring Ireland's enchanting west coast.
This is one of my favorite stops in Ireland and my now husband proposed in this epic location. "

"The cliff of Moher are a popular tourist location in Ireland, and for good reason. The sea cliffs stretch for quite a distance and there is a path from the visitor centre to a lookout tower that runs along the top of the cliffs. The cliffs can get very busy at peak times and during the summer months so i would recommend getting to them early (they open at 8am) or for sunset if possible (close 9pm). See link to book tickets."
