"We found this to be a really great adventure from Mykonos. You can walk around the island and really get up close and personal with the ancient ruins there, more-so than anywhere else we visited. There is also a museum with some of the more well-preserved statues found on the island. Do know what you're getting into though: The boat ride from Mykonos, while not very long, can get rough if the wind picks up or water gets choppy. Recommend going in the morning for calmer water. Make sure that you carry water and snacks with you, as there are no shops selling food or drinks on the island. There is hardly any shade in Delos, so remember to bring your hat and wear sunscreen. Mykonos - Delos ferry crossing: Local operators provide ferry routes from Mykonos to Delos. Boats depart from the old port of Mykonos, located in Chora. In the summer, there are daily ferry crossings to Delos, taking approximately 30 minutes. Return tickets cost around €22 for adults, with discount tickets available for children. You can buy ferry tickets from the ticket offices in Chora, Mykonos. Tip: ferry tickets do not include access to the archaeological site. "

"Delos is a small island in the Aegean Sea, renowned in Greek mythology as the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. In antiquity, it was a sacred center and a thriving religious, political, and commercial hub. Delos is known for its well-preserved archaeological ruins, including temples, theaters, and statues. Today, it's an UNESCO World Heritage Site attracting visitors interested in ancient Greek history and mythology. Just a heads up, the tour does not include the entrance fee to the site. The cost is €12. Tip: If you are visiting in the summer, make sure to bring a hat and lots of water! There’s not much shade on the island of Delos and it can get quite hot!"
"Take a day trip to the nearby island of Delos, an ancient archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage site. Delos was considered sacred in antiquity and is rich in historical ruins."
