What people say

"Agia Anna is one of the busiest and most popular beaches on Naxos, seamlessly continuing from the beach of Agios Prokopios This long, secluded sandy beach features a picturesque port that primarily accommodates fishing boats, providing stunning views that have attracted tourists for decades. Located just 6.3 kilometers from Naxos Town, Agia Anna is easily accessible by car, motorbike, bicycle, or regular public transportation during the summer months. The coastal road runs alongside the beach, offering travelers the chance to admire the area’s natural beauty. The beach is well-organized, equipped with numerous umbrellas and sunbeds, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Visitors can find a wide range of accommodations, including hotels, apartments, and beachfront properties, along with a variety of taverns, restaurants, cafes, and beach bars, many of which boast beautiful views of the beach and the eastern coast of Paros. While the northern part of Agia Anna can sometimes experience choppy waters, the small cove near the port remains calm, making it ideal for swimming even during windy days. Families should exercise caution as the road runs alongside the beach, especially in the busier summer months. Heading south from Agia Anna leads to Maragas, where the asphalt road ends, giving way to a beautiful route lined with cedar trees that invites visitors to enjoy a scenic seaside walk from Agios Prokopios to Maragas."
