"This is the outlet glacier of the magnificent Mýrdalsjökull glacier on the southern coast of Iceland. It is one of the most accessible glacier outlets that can be easily reached from Highway 1. You can satisfy yourself with a short observation of it, or you can also go glacier hiking. While walking on the glacier, you will encounter waterfalls and crevices and might even come across some natural ice caves. "
