"An otherworldly sight, especially during winter when the shores are covered with snow. There are also numerous caves you can explore if the lake is frozen over!
From the trailhead, you will need snow tires to continue further during winter since these dirt roads aren't plowed. There is a steep section what will require a 4x4 vehicle. You can also park at the trailhead and hike to the columns. The hike is about 3 miles round trip.
