"This place was AWESOME and well worth hopping on the interstate to get over to. We parked across the street in overflow parking and then made our way to ‘The Farm’ at South Mountain. Here is a little excerpt from their website to give you a little insight to what they are all about: ‘Born from an ancient riverbed that blessed the grounds with naturally-rich soil, The Farm at South Mountain’s vision of sustainability was originally conceived in the early 1920’s. The Farm continues to be a destination for self-sustainability, locally created arts, and a truly farm-to-table experience.’ We both got a cocktail and a salad - going back, we probably would have had a sandwich just because the salad was kind of expensive and we were still hungry after. That being said, it was REALLY good and really fresh. The drinks were also amazing and unlike any we had ever had before! Once you get your food, go choose from literally hundreds of spots to eat. If Grace didn’t have so many allergies they had a little picnic basket you can buy which included an appetizer, meals and a dessert - it even comes with a blanket to sit on! We went for lunch but they also have a breakfast spot in the back of the property as well as a fancier reservation only dinner location! We would love to go back for both."
