"Second SF-based Thai restaurant for chef Pim - Kin Khao is Michelin starred, as is her restaurant in Bangkok. Nari has a fancier dining room and the menu is a bit bigger - and was recently starred!
At both places, I tend to think her apps and small plates are better than the big mains - and you can make a more interesting meal out of more of them than having a curry. Cocktails are great.
Must order:
Nam Tok Beans
Pork jowl and squid
Brussel sprouts
Bar upstairs doesn’t require reservations, almost always has easy walk in availability, and serves the same menu as the dining room. Plus, it’s a romantic vibe!
