"From Braimard Lake, there's a hike all the way up to Isabelle Glacier. It's about a 12.5-mile hike. You'll go all the way up to one of the last real glaciers in Colorado. On the way, you'll pass Brainard Lake & Long Hike which are both easy hikes you can do along the way.
If this feels like it's too hard, don't worry. I definitely didn't go to the glacier the first time. You could keep coming back and building up to it.
Make sure you check snow levels before you visit. Usually, the snow starts melting around April. Late June would probably allow you to hike it without any extra gear. If you're hiking all the way to the glacier, it will shrink as the weather gets warmer, but it tends to look more like a glacier in the summer, and a snowfield in the winter."
