What people say

"I know it's not Italian food, but El Maiz should definitely be on your list for Rome! They are 100% GF and some of the best arepas I've ever had (for context- I eat a LOT of Arepas). El Maiz is close to the Vatican and it's a tiny shop with just a few seats around the perimeter. There's an electronic kiosk outside where you put in your order either to have there or to takeaway. I particularly enjoyed the tostones(fried smashed plantains with pulled beef and avocado on top). "
