"After your Castle tour, chances are you are hungry. Kuchyň (koo-heen) is just a few steps from the Castle so you can enjoy a delicious meal before you descend into the city. It's part of the esteemed restaurant group Ambiente which means you cannot go wrong ordering anything off the menu. They offer classic Czech food, Czech beer, and possibly the best view of Prague! On a sunny day, ask for a seat in the garden.
📍 Location
To get to Kuchyň, make sure you exit the Castle through the gate of "Wrestling Titans" leading up to Hradčanské náměstí (Hradčany square). That's the gate with two very frightening-looking statues 😱. Kuchyň is located right across from the gate, on the premises of the National Gallery Prague, near the Schwarzenberg Palace. If you can't find it, locate the statue of T.G. Masaryk (Czechoslovakia's first president, and also a writer). The entrance is behind it.

"Czech food is best enjoyed with a nice view! Located by the Prague Castle, this is the perfect place to combine sightseeing with truly delicious food.
I recommend visiting the Prague Castle in the evening when the crowds of tourists have already disappeared. After a walk around, head to the restaurant for an amazing dinner with a breathtaking view, especially in summer when you can sit outside. :)
Do not forget to make a reservation as this place is usually very crowded. And if the restaurant happens to be full, you can at least stop by for a beer, which can be enjoyed even while standing at their viewpoint!"
