What people say

"Nestled within cliffs rising up to 100 meters on three sides, Maya Bay is a remarkably beautiful bay boasting multiple beaches, some of which are small and appear only during low tide. The primary beach stretches approximately 200 meters, offering a soft white sand shoreline. The entire bay is essentially a vast reef teeming with colorful coral and exotic fish visible through exceptionally clear water. Following the filming of The Beach (1999) at Maya Bay, the location became a prominent attraction on Phi Phi Island. While already popular prior to the movie, the global recognition garnered after the film's release has made Maya Bay a household name even for those unfamiliar with Phi Phi Island."

"There is no doubt that Maya Bay is one of the most stunning places in Thailand. With its unique cliff formations, pristine white sand beach and clear emerald water, it's blessed with a pretty stunning scenery. However there's also no doubt that this makes it one of the busiest and most visited places in Thailand. "

"One of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. It can only be accessed by taking a day trip or boat and you cannot swim in the water due to pollution from tourists. But it's still a beautiful place to visit and take some pictures on the beach!"
