Calamosche Beach

"This beach is tucked inside the Vendicari Nature Reserve, and can be considered an hidden gem with its calm, clear waters and scenic cliffs—ideal for swimming and a bit of snorkelling. You can only get there by driving. From Catania it takes around 1.5 hours, taking the A18 toward Noto, then follow signs for Vendicari. Once you park, there's a 15–20-minute walk to the beach, so take into consideration if you have children, beach supplies or suffer the heat. There are no services there, so you will need to pack enough water, snacks, and shade (aka sunbrella). It can get quite busy, especially during July-August, so im for early morning to get a good spot."
