La Coupole

Very pretty and classic restaurant, decorated in Art Deco style, each column being the work of one artist of Montparnasse's bohemian life. Its grand opening, on December 20, 1927, was the peak of Montparnasse's artistic life. The assembly was huge, made from everyone that was famous in Paris at that time, and the legend say they drank more than 1 000 bottles of champagne. 
Today, it is still very pretty, but I find it a bit too touristy for my taste
