"Tremezzo is another beautiful small town on Lake Como that is mostly known as a picturesque tourist resort, with elegant villas lining its streets.
By far the largest attraction to Tremezzo is the incredible Villa Carlotta, a 17th-century neo-classical style villa surrounded by the most gorgeous gardens in the Lake Como area.
The Monte Crocione hike (eight-hour round-trip) which starts nearby offers amazing views of the lake and the alps.
Similar to the other lake towns, the best way to get to Tremezzo is by ferry or car! "

"One of the most visited villages on Lake Como is the lovely Tremezzo, north of Moltrasio and approximately 1.5 hours by ferry.
This elegant and upmarket seaside town is home to the beautiful Villa Carlotta, a 17th century Neo-classical villa overlooking the lake, surrounded by fourteen acres of gloriously colourful garden
Take a walk along the flower-lined pier to admire some truly breathtaking lake views "

"Tremezzo is a town and resort about half way down the western side of Lake Como, very typical of the towns around the lake and most visited for the Villa Carlotta and its lovely gardens. Tremezzo and the neighbouring communes such as Mezzegra and Lenno are now officially combined together as a place called Tremezzina."
