"3. Whale Watching Stop Árskógssandur
- whale watching in Iceland is a must and really worth it. We decided to observe in the Fjord - Ólasfjordur
- like most companies, this company - NorthSailing has two trips during the day - morning (10am) and afternoon (2pm).
-there is no need to dress warmly, they provide warm waterproof overalls. We sailed on a traditional boat
- we saw the first whale after 15 minutes
- information about where the whale is located is provided by the guide, so it is relatively easy to spot the whales in time
-the ship was full, but everyone had enough space to observe. We enjoyed a cinnamon roll and hot chocolate on the way back
