Fun Fact: There are actually many types of Cherry Blossom Trees in New York City that bloom starting from early March through May.

Brooklyn Museum

You should definitely check this museums site for exhibit dates & times. Every few months, a new artist is being honored, from paintings to music & most exhibitions are free to the public. 

I was fortunate to visit the Jay Z exhibition while it was on display. The museum held his most valuable awards, scratches of music, tapes, speeches, & photos. 



The Brooklyn Museum: This museum features exhibits on art and culture from around the world, including ancient Egyptian artifacts and contemporary art. Admission is free on the first Saturday of every month from 5pm-11pm. Estimated time: 3-4 hours.

Located in the heart of Brooklyn, this museum offers diverse exhibits ranging from ancient artifacts to contemporary works. Its extensive collection and dynamic programs make it a cultural cornerstone of NYC.

There are a few gorgeous Yoshino Cherry Blossom Trees just outside the entrance to the Brooklyn Museum. There are a few benches under them, perfect for a photo op or bring your lunch on a beautiful day!
