" Follow the Trail to “the Cradle of Liberty” Faneuil Hall (1742). This building which was given to the city of Boston by rich merchant Peter Faneuil, is famous for the meetings and protests that led to the American Revolution. Notice the grasshopper on top of the building. The grasshopper (his name is Gus) was copied from the grasshopper on the London Royal Exchange Building (which Peter Faneuil model his build after of) and was choosing as a sign of prosperity."

"Welcome to another of Boston's icons! The Faneuil Hall dates back to 18th century and expanding into the 19th century, and is a historic marketplace. Here you'll find over 40 local vendors, restaurants and shops.
This is a great place to have lunch, like a clam chowder, or grab a pick-me-up! I highly recommend FoMu which has delicious vegan and gluten free ice cream - their flavors are so unique.😍"
