What people say

"The Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall is located on Ratchadamnoen Klang Avenue, next to the Lan Phlapphla Maha Chetsada Bodin Pavilion. This building, originally part of the royal capital's gateway, has been renovated by the Crown Property Bureau to serve as a comprehensive learning center dedicated to the history, arts, and culture of the Rattanakosin Era. It is considered the most complete exhibition of its kind in Thailand. Inside the three-story building, the exhibition brings the Rattanakosin Era to life using modern technology, interactive displays, models, and virtual four-dimensional mixed media. Visitors can explore the history of the era through self-guided tours, with animated cartoons and informative guides available in each of the nine exhibition rooms. The building also offers two corners with panoramic views of the surrounding areas. The coffee shop, with clear glass walls, provides stunning views of Wat Ratchanatda's Loha Prasat (Metal Castle) and the Golden Mount of Wat Sa Ket. Additionally, the hall features a library, souvenir shops, and food and beverage outlets. The Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an admission fee of 100 baht for adults. Admission is free for students in uniform or with a student ID, Buddhist monks and novices, seniors over 60, and individuals with disabilities."
