“Crossing the Rainbow Bridge” (muda hakaw utux) is the highest practice of Taroko personal values. The tribal people refer to the “Rainbow Bridge” from hakaw (bridge) and utux (spirit). The rainbow is the totem symbol of the tribal spirits.
