"Westernmost point in Iceland! Amazing place, 14km of huge cliffs with thousands of birds.
Be aware that it takes longer than what Google Maps tells you to go there, the road is not well maintained and full of potholes.
Check road.is to check if the road is safe to drive, and take your time.
I love to go there during the midnight sun to enjoy the spot with no one else around you, only birds.
You can see puffins from up-close, literally at 1m away from you."

"This is a popular puffin viewing location! The puffins migrate to sea most of the year, but from June to August you can get a good view of them nesting.
PRO TIP: Watch the live cams to make sure they are still there. Last year we missed them by 1 day as they started their migration in late August.
It's also the most western point in all of Europe. There are insane cliffs."

"Látrabjarg bird-cliff in the Westfjords of Iceland is the largest seabird cliff in Iceland and one of Europe's biggest seabird cliffs. Látrabjarg is over 440 meters high and 14 km long.
This is the best place in Iceland to get close to and photograph the puffins so don't skip this location!"
