"McCloud Falls is a series of three waterfalls and is a popular destination for many.
The three waterfalls that make up McCloud Falls are Lower Falls, Middle Falls, and Upper Falls. Lower Falls is the smallest of the three falls, but it is still a beautiful sight, with crystal clear water cascading over a series of rocks and boulders.
Middle Falls is the most dramatic of the three falls, with a 50-foot drop that creates a powerful and stunning display of water. The falls are surrounded by forests and rocky cliffs, creating a picturesque setting.
Upper Falls is the tallest of the three falls, with a drop of over 25 feet. The falls are surrounded by a series of pools and rapids, creating a beautiful and dynamic display of water that is both mesmerizing and awe-inspiring.
Visitors to McCloud Falls can access each of the falls via a series of short trails and boardwalks that wind their way through the surrounding forests and meadows. The trails are well-maintained and offer stunning views of the falls and the surrounding wilderness. I highly recommend hiking the entire trail as they are quite close together! Here, you will feel quite a bit of Lemurian energies. "

"If you visit McCloud, you would be remiss to not drive a little further up the 89 to hike this trail. It might be in the top 10 prettiest trails in California. There are 3 falls along the trail that get bigger as you go. You can swim in them.
The McCloud River is unobstructed and is a designated wild and scenic river. You can find little American Dippers. I think you can fish, but it has to be barbless.
There are tons of areas to swim. Some people like jumping off the lower falls. As a lifeguard of 20 years, I don't recommend it, but people do it.
For folks with disabilities, or for kids in strollers there are accessible paved paths to see a couple of the waterfalls (lower and upper) from a few viewpoints.
Middle Falls is my favorite. Upper Falls is the most striking. This river runs year-round so you won't have to worry about them running out of water, even during major drought years.
It's dog-friendly & dogs can go in the river. It's also great for birding."
