"Welcome to one of Boston's most beloved neighborhoods!
The North End is a small and beautiful neighborhood of older architecture. Here you'll find small businesses and endless restaurants and cafes - most of which are Italian / Italian-American.
My personal favorites, as an Italian native, are Vinoteca di Monica and Trattoria il Panino. They offer gluten free options!
Furthermore, in the North End you'll find several pastry shops and ENDLESS cannolis!
The most famous is Mikes Pastry, but I personally DON'T recommend it. Why? Because the cannolis are already made and not as fresh as other places, and it's always over crowded.
Go to Bova's Bakery if you're a fan of movies or want a midnight snack. Go to Modern Pastry Shop for delicious pastries (including FRESH gluten free cannolis)!
Important Tip: Always bring cash with you in this area, as some cafes and pastry shops don’t take card!"
